At an October 9 press conference in Thailand, the organizers outlined plans for 70 wrestlers and 135 sumo personnel in total. The dohyo is to use local soil, while its suspended roof is to be shipped from Japan.
The performance is scheduled for June 11–13, 2027, at One Bangkok Forum. Thinking about the people and work around the ring makes the preparations interesting too. These remain plans for the event.
