Can I visit the Sumo Museum during the September tournament?
Yes. September 13–27, 2026: scheduled 12:30 p.m.–4:00 p.m. A tournament ticket for that day is required.
The exhibition is “The 100th Anniversary of Chiyonoyama’s Birth and His Disciples.”
You do not need to study the history first. Find one object or old wrestler that makes you curious, then go back to the live tournament.
