A close exchange or a last effort at the edge can stay with us long after the bout. The Japan Sumo Association’s official fan club is collecting votes for memorable bouts from the September tournament.
Voting is available to Makuuchi-tier members and above; the free Juryo tier is not eligible. The deadline is noon JST on Monday, September 28.
Each member has one vote and may update it during the voting period, including after watching the final day. The club plans to announce the top five afterward with bout footage and messages from voters. See the official page for full conditions and the voting form.
