A favourite wrestler’s birthday gives you a different sort of sumo calendar. On September 10, the official sumo fan club announced birthday goods for 13 wrestlers born in November and December.
What has been announced?
The range includes keyrings, compact mirrors, drawstring bags and acrylic stands. Purchases are open from the free Juryo membership tier. The membership tier is free; the merchandise is not.
Kotozakura and Daieisho are among the 13 wrestlers included. Follow the official announcement to the individual products. Check your selection, price, shipping and delivery details before ordering; international availability is not assumed.
A name can be a beginning
I like the idea of browsing a list like this and finding one wrestler whose bouts I have not watched closely yet. You can enjoy that discovery without buying anything. Remember a name, wait for the announcement during a broadcast, and give that bout your attention.
For a first thread to follow, try Daieisho’s movement behind the pushing attack or Kotozakura’s preferred grip.
