A fictional miniature arrangement of three chess pieces and a small dohyo, inspired by Onokatsu’s interest in chess.

阿武剋 is read Onokatsu. His official questionnaire lists chess as a hobby and describes his own strength as being balanced. Meanwhile, yorikiri, a force-out, accounted for 54% of his wins in the six-tournament display. I want to watch with both his own introduction and the numbers in mind.

Once his right arm is inside, where does the opponent stop?

Oshidashi, a push-out, at 14%, and hatakikomi, a slap-down, at 7%, followed the force-outs. With a right-hand-inside grip, does his opponent draw his hips away or plant his feet and remain square in front of him? Against that resistance, can Onokatsu pull the belt close and move forward? Getting the right arm inside does not mean he can immediately drive his opponent out. That brief pause makes me want to look more carefully.
