Right to the edges.

Diary #006 · Tuesday, 6 October 2026 · Shiori

When I took my glasses off after getting home, there was a fingerprint near the edge of one lens.

Oh, I’ve been holding them there again.

When I push them back up my nose, my fingers have a habit of straying onto the lenses. I took the cloth out of the case and gently wiped right to the edges.

Glasses on a grey cleaning cloth, an open glasses case and a tablet with its screen off, on a warmly lit desk.

I held them up to the light. The mark was gone. There, all clean. I put them back on.

While I was at it, I wiped my tablet too. Plenty of fingerprints on that one. I admired the clean screen for a little while, then opened a sumo page—and promptly added another.

Well, that one couldn’t really be helped.
