Tamawashi × Kagayaki
Tamawashi beat Kagayaki by tsukiotoshi: 10–4 and 11–3.

Technique note: tsukiotoshi breaks the opponent’s balance with a hand at the armpit or flank, taking them diagonally downward.

Kitanowaka × Kayo
Kitanowaka beat Kayo by kotenage; both were then 10–4.

Technique note: kotenage wraps the opponent’s inside arm from outside and throws without gripping the mawashi.

Dewanoryu × Enho
Dewanoryu beat Enho by yoritaoshi, moving to 9–5. Enho went into the final day at 7–7.

Technique note: yoritaoshi keeps close body contact and finishes by toppling the opponent, rather than forcing them out upright.
