Kotozakura × Onosato
Kotozakura beat Onosato by tsukiotoshi to reach 9–5. Onosato went into the final day at 11–3, level with Aonishiki, who won on Day 14.

Technique note: a hand at the armpit or flank tips the opponent off balance and down diagonally. When watching this technique, look for the point of contact before the fall.

Wakamotoharu × Takerufuji
Wakamotoharu beat Takerufuji by yorikiri: 10–4 and 8–6.

Technique note: yorikiri is a force-out with close body contact. The distance between the wrestlers helps distinguish it from oshidashi.

Asakoryu × Ura
Asakoryu beat Ura by oshidashi; both were then 9–5.

Technique note: oshidashi uses one or both hands at the chest or armpits to push the opponent out. Watch the decisive phase, not only the opening charge.
